With that being said, my father-in-law found that Muse was helping the TV station Palladin start the New Year out right by playing footage from their 2009 Seaside Rendezvous concert in their hometown of Teignmouth, Devon. A perfect way to start the new year right? I love it... but because my husband had to be up at 4 AM for work today and we no longer have cable at home, I didn't get to watch it. But, I'll be watching today! I managed to find the whole performance on the internet but the file was too large so it's posted below in parts for your viewing pleasure :)

And a little FYI that I think is hilarious..... My parents are HUGE beach music fans. Being from South Carolina, they listen to anything that lets them do the state dance, the shag. Well, I keep catching my mother watching a Muse clip that I've left on their computer and I keep catching my dad turning it off because he says "that's a bunch of noise." To my delight, after watching the ball drop last night at my parent's house, I found that not only did my mom not watch Dick Clark and Ryan Seacreast drop the ball, she had been watching the Muse Seaside Rendezvous concert the entire time. LOVED IT!
Just as a side note, I'm going to attempt to get things rolling better with the blog this year. I've been so busy with my new job and all of the holidays that I haven't been able to be as active in the blogging world as I'd like.
